“Suspended Time” – New Dolomites Route Opened

Alpinists Leo Gheza and Luca Duccoli have opened a new climbing route called “Suspended Time” on the south wall of Red Furcia III in the Dolomites of Fanes. This little-known wall offers rock quality and climbing experience comparable to more famous Dolomite destinations.

During the first ascent, the team used friends and six nails for progression, while spit supports were installed along the route. The wall’s south-east exposure allows climbing in the middle of the seasons, as it largely remains dry and any overflow has been repaired.

“Suspended Time” promises to be a compelling choice for climbers seeking a technical challenge on a spectacular, lesser-known Dolomite wall.
