Kazbek & Ortsveri Expedition

Two Peaks. One Alpine Ascent.

A dual-summit challenge for climbers seeking progression, altitude, and the raw beauty of Georgia’s Caucasus range.

Kazbek & Ortsveri Expedition

Embark on a rare alpine adventure with our Kazbek and Ortsveri expedition—a dual-summit climb designed for those seeking deeper progression, higher challenge, and richer rewards. Towering above Georgia’s Caucasus Mountains, Mount Kazbek (5,047 m) and Ortsveri (4,356 m) form a natural training arc, offering climbers a unique opportunity to scale two iconic peaks in one seamless journey.

This two-peak alpine expedition begins in the historic Gergeti region and progresses through remote glacier valleys, sharp ridgelines, and pristine alpine zones. Along the way, you’ll tackle diverse climbing conditions, from steep snowfields to crevassed glacier crossings—each summit revealing a new layer of Georgia’s raw beauty and mountaineering depth.

Ideal for intermediate climbers looking to level up or experienced alpinists chasing a purposeful combo ascent, this route combines real acclimatization with technical progression. Our expert guides will lead you step-by-step, from Kazbek’s classic south route to Ortsveri’s lesser-traveled alpine face, providing mentorship and support every step of the way.

Whether you’re training for bigger expeditions or simply seeking the thrill of a high-altitude technical combo climb in Georgia, the Kazbek & Ortsveri expedition is an unforgettable push beyond the ordinary—two summits, one bold statement.
