Caucasus Mountain Expeditions

The Caucasus Mountains remain one of the last truly wild alpine regions in the world — raw, steep, and full of character. Stretching across Georgia, this range is home to some of the most dynamic and technically diverse peaks in Europe. At Summiters Club, our Caucasus expeditions are built for climbers who want to experience real altitude, mixed terrain, and cultural depth — all within a guided, professional framework.

Our current expeditions focus on Georgia’s most iconic peaks: Mount Kazbek, Mount Ushba, and Mount Tetnuldi. From Kazbek’s classic 5000-meter ascent to Ushba’s exposed ridgelines and Tetnuldi’s balanced progression routes, each summit offers a distinct challenge. These climbs are not tourist trails — they’re full alpine objectives that demand awareness, conditioning, and trust in your team.

Every expedition is led by a combination of local Georgian guides and international UIAA-aligned professionals. This mix ensures not only technical excellence and safety, but also a deeper connection to the regions we climb in. We emphasize proper acclimatization, weather-based decision making, and mental preparation as much as we do physical training.

Our approach is flexible and personal. We offer scheduled group expeditions, private guided climbs, and dual-peak itineraries for climbers seeking to maximize their time in the Caucasus. All logistics — from basecamp to summit — are handled with care and local knowledge. You’ll focus on climbing. We’ll handle the rest.

Whether you’re starting your alpine journey with Kazbek or preparing to step into more technical terrain like Ushba, the Caucasus is a powerful place to learn, grow, and redefine your limits. This is not just a region — it’s a proving ground.
